Description

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Plugin Developer to design, develop, and maintain custom plugins for our growing digital platforms. This role involves building scalable, secure, and well-documented plugins that integrate seamlessly with WordPress, Elementor, WooCommerce, and other third-party services.

 

A key responsibility of this role is to ensure that all plugins developed do not conflict with existing plugins, themes, or site functionality, and remain fully compatible with Elementor and future WordPress updates.

 

This is a remote position with flexible working hours and the potential for long-term collaboration.

 

Tasks:

  • Develop custom WordPress plugins from scratch
  • Extend or customize existing plugins
  • Ensure plugins do not clash with existing plugins or themes
  • Build plugins that are fully compatible with Elementor (widgets, controls, or integrations where required)
  • Integrate third-party APIs (e.g. Stripe, MailerLite, CRM, automation tools)
  • Follow WordPress coding standards and best practices
  • Ensure plugin security, performance, and scalability
  • Debug, maintain, and update plugins as needed
  • Provide clear documentation and basic usage instructions
  • Collaborate with designers and project managers

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in WordPress plugin development
  • Advanced knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Solid understanding of WordPress hooks, actions, filters, and REST API
  • Proven experience ensuring plugin compatibility and conflict-free development
  • Hands-on experience with Elementor compatibility or custom Elementor widgets
  • Experience with WooCommerce, membership plugins (PMPro a plus), and third-party integrations
  • Ability to write clean, secure, and maintainable code
  • Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines
  • Good written English communication skills
  • Portfolio or examples of previous plugin work required
